JULY 2016 At the August 15, 2016, City Commission Meeting, the Longwood City Commission presented Jeffrey A. Coutant, President of Uni-Pak Corporation, located at 1015 North Ronald Reagan Boulevard, Longwood, Florida, the Business Person of the Month Award for July 2016. Jeffrey A. Coutant, upon completion of college, moved back to Longwood and renewed his employment at Uni-Pak Corporation. Uni-Pak is a family business that has been in Longwood since its inception. Uni-Pak is a manufacturing business, in business for 45 years, all 45 years in Longwood, Florida. Uni-Pak Corporation manufactures machinery and conveying systems for beverage, food, paint and pharmaceutical industries. Services include custom-designed equipment, engineering and layout facilities (CAD), turnkey systems, cable splicing, conveyor and fitting modifications. Jeffrey A. Coutant is married, having three children and four grandchildren. The City of Longwood is very pleased to have Jeffrey A. Coutant and Uni-Pak Corporation as a part of its business community. |
| | Halloween/Trunk or Treat Event!!! | The City of Longwood will be hosting the annual Halloween/Trunk or Treat event from 3:00-5:30pm at Reiter Park (311 Warren Ave) on Saturday, October 29th. There will be a costume contest, free candy for children, bounce houses, games, food vendors and more. Trunk or treating will go until 5:00pm. For more information, email ccapizzi@longwoodfl.org |
| | Longwood Summer Camp | The City of Longwood is excited to announce details about 2017 Summer Camp Program. This year’s camp will be located at Lyman High School and will run nine weeks between June 5th through August 4th , and includes weekly swimming, field trips, and free lunch. The City of Longwood summer camp is an exciting, safe environment for kids to have an unforgettable summer of fun. And while they’re taking part in unique experiences and adventures, they’re also building self-esteem, developing interpersonal skills and making lasting friendships and memories. Summer is just around the corner mark your calendars registration starts April 3rd for residents and April 10th for nonresidents.
