CITY OF LONGWOOD BUSINESS PERSON OF THE MONTH MARCH 2020

At the February 17, 2020, City Commission Meeting, Commissioner Abby Shoemaker nominated Lincoln, Owner of Taps & Caps Lounge located at 190 South Ronald Reagan Boulevard, to receive the Business Person of the Month Award for March 2020

Lincoln has been a Longwood resident for over 30 years now. He is currently enrolled and in pursuit of a Criminal Justice Degree at Seminole State College.

Lincoln was a first-time business owner when he opened Taps & Caps Lounge five years ago. He has been in the business ever since then and has been able to make Taps & Caps Lounge one of the highest-rated Hookah Lounges in Central Florida offering over 50 different shisha flavors along with a variety of cold beers, cocktails, and wines. His venue includes a DJ booth, four TV’s, LED lighting, a bar, and hookah service. Taps & Caps receives visitors from all over Florida as Lincoln is known to provide excellent customer service to everyone that comes through his doors. His venue is available for private events and it holds an occupancy of 40 to 50 people. If one of your favorite pastimes is singing, Taps & Caps hosts karaoke nights every Friday and every other Saturday.  There are Game nights every Wednesday and Beer Pong every Sunday.

Lincoln is well involved in the Longwood Community and has sponsored, as well as supported Longwood’s local sports teams, the Fallen Officers Charity Football Game, Mayor Matt Morgan’s Candyland Clash for Longwood Babe Ruth, and the Red Rockets Babe Ruth Girls Softball team.

The City of Longwood is truly pleased to have Taps & Caps and Owner, Lincoln Bhagwandass, as part of its business community.
