Congratulations to the Longwood Fire Department on their most recent ISO rating! ISO (Insurance Services Office) ratings calculate how well-equipped a fire department is to extinguish fires in their community. After analyzing the data it collects, the ISO assigns a rating from 1 to 10. 1 is the best possible rating, while 10 means the fire department failed to meet ISO’s minimum requirements. This review is conducted every five years.
We are proud to announce the Longwood Fire Department received a rating of 2. Of nearly 30,000 fire departments in the nation, less than 1600 of them attain this level.
Chief Peters and the Longwood Fire Department are already working toward attaining a rating of 1 for their review in the year 2024.
