Project Description:
At the April 3, 2017 City Commission meeting, the City Commission approved a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for the Florida Central Parkway Complete Street Project. The City sought and received funding for the approximately $1.5 million project from FDOT, a project that was designed as part of a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Sustainable Communities Grant received by the City in 2012.

The project includes the construction of sidewalks throughout the City's industrial center including Florida Central Parkway and Bennett Drive in an effort to make the area more friendly to pedestrians and the provision of transit.
