Notice of Road Closure for Longwood Christmas Parade  

The City of Longwood will be hosting the Longwood Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 3rd. To ensure the safety of patron and parade participants, the following roads will be closed during the event:

Longwood Christmas Parade (Saturday, December 3, 2022) 

CR 427 (Ronald Reagan Boulevard,) will be CLOSED between the intersection of Longwood Hills Road and State Road 434 both directions on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from approximately 12:00pm until 5:00pm due to the City of Longwood Christmas Parade. 

***Residents of Oakmonte Reserve will be able to exit and re-enter from their subdivision by way of 14th Avenue between 12:00pm and 5:00pm. Please be patient as traffic will be slow going at times. Emergency vehicles will have access to and from the subdivision during this time frame. *** 

The following roads in the historic district will be closed: 

  • W Warren Ave from CR 427 to Milwee St (residents east of the community building will have access to their homes throughout the day via Milwee St intersection
  • W Church Ave from CR 427 to Milwee St 
  • Wilma St from E Bay Ave to W Church Ave 

 

We appreciate your patience during this time and realize that this may be an inconvenience to those within the parade route. However, in light of safety precautions is imperative that the City take the necessary measures to ensure that roads are properly closed and secured so that the parade can occur without incident. Thank you!
