ROC STOP SEIZURES’ JOURNEY OF 1000 MILES
Ryan O'Connor (a/k/a ROC) of ROC Stop Seizures will walk from Longwood, Florida, to Fenton, Missouri. This is a total of approximately 1000 miles, so it is called his Journey of 1000 miles. As a Veteran with Epilepsy, the purpose of Ryan's walk is to raise awareness for Epilepsy and Battle Induced Seizure Disorders.
ROC Stop Seizures, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to raise Epilepsy awareness, announced today that its CEO, Ryan O’Connor, a Veteran with Epilepsy, will be walking from Longwood, Florida, to Fenton, Missouri, during the month of October. Ryan anticipates that his Journey of 1000 Miles will take 21 to 28 days at 30 to 50 miles a day. While his exact route will be determined on a day by day basis during the walk, Ryan expects to start his walk heading up to North Florida into Georgia and then through Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, and into Missouri.
