Lieutenant Bradley Tollas graduated from Lake Brantley High School in 1993 and is a Florida native. He attended the Law Enforcement Academy at Seminole State College which he successfully completed and joined the Apopka Police Department in 1999.

In January 2004, Lieutenant Tollas joined the Longwood Police Department as an officer assigned to Road Patrol. He worked road patrol until being promoted to the rank of Corporal in 2009 and transferring to the Criminal Investigations Division in 2010. He was assigned cases involving major crimes and was assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children task force. He routinely supervised investigators and assisted as a backup evidence custodian for the department. He was assigned Administrative Investigations for the department during his tenure in Criminal Investigations.
Lieutenant Tollas transferred back to Road Patrol in September 2017 and successfully completed the Public Safety Leadership Development course in November 2019. Lieutenant Tollas continued with his advancement by being promoted to Sergeant in October 2019 as a Road Patrol Sergeant. Lieutenant Tollas was assigned to road patrol and also as the Field Training Program coordinator responsible for newly hired officers. Lieutenant Tollas assisted with implementing the Field Training program into a digital format and updating the program. He continued with his career by being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in October 2021 and assigned to the Special Operations Division. He was responsible for the Criminal Investigations Division and the Traffic Division. In 2022 he was assigned to the Administrative Support Division responsible for Fleet, Facilities Maintenance, the Body Worn Camera program, and off-duty details. Lieutenant Tollas was recently transferred to the Patrol Division. He also continues to oversee the police departments fleet operations.
During his career, Lieutenant Tollas has served on the agency’s Honor Guard for over 15 years and has been a Traffic Homicide Investigator for over 20 years. He is currently looking into further advancing his education by attending Valencia State College to earn an A.S. degree.
On his off time, Lt. Tollas is known to frequent his children’s school football games, basketball games, and cheerleading events. He likes to spend time with his family traveling, going to the beach, or staying home and enjoying their pool.
