Special Operations
Lieutenant Bryant is a native of Kansas City, Missouri. He joined the United States Marine Corps at 17 years old in January 2001. Lt. Bryant is a combat veteran that was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and later received an honorable discharge in July 2008.
Lt. Bryant started his law enforcement career in Southwest Missouri in 2004. While working for the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, and later, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. Lt. Bryant filled many roles as a deputy including; correctional deputy, patrol deputy, school resource deputy, investigator, and was a member of the S.W.A.T. team.

While working as a deputy, Lt. Bryant finished his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration in 2011 from Missouri Southern State University. In 2013, he completed his Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Central Missouri.
In February 2014, Lt. Bryant started his career with the Longwood Police Department as a patrol officer. In 2016 Lt. Bryant was promoted to Corporal, and in 2017 was transferred to the Community Relations Unit. While in the Community Relations Unit, he was also tasked with filling the role of the department’s public information officer and the Longwood Media Relations Liaison. In 2018, he was promoted to Sergeant and took on a new leadership role in the Enforcement Support Division. In his new position, Lt. Bryant was tasked with supervising the Community Relations Unit and the School Resource Program. Lt. Bryant was promoted to Lieutenant in 2019 and was tasked with managing the Enforcement Support Division. During his time managing the Enforcement Support Division, he oversaw the implementation of the entire training program becoming digital. In 2021 Lt. Bryant was transferred to oversee the police department's Patrol Division. Lt. Bryant was responsible for the entire patrol division, patrol reserves, and the Citizens On Patrol Program. Lt. Bryant currently oversees the Special Operations Division. His current responsibilities include the Criminal Investigations Unit, Traffic Unit, Evidence, C.C.I.B., Reserves Program, and Professional Standards. Lt. Bryant is a defensive tactics instructor and the department's First Aid/AED/CPR instructor.
Lt. Bryant attended the Valencia College Public Safety Leadership Development Certification Program in 2017 and completed his F.B.I. LEEDA Trilogy in 2022. He is currently working towards his Organizational Management Certification through the Southern Police Institute. Lt. Bryant is also an Adjunct Professor at Seminole State College.
Lt. Bryant resides in Seminole County where he and his wife Alisha are raising their three boys.
