The Addison Longwood

This page will be home to information about The Addison Longwood, a proposed apartment community located near SR 434 and Ronald Reagan Boulevard. This is the same property for which a project known as "Shoppes at Longwood" was proposed.

This page is hosted in lieu of an in-person informational meeting as the City looks to ensure that information is available to everyone without being restricted by time or concerns related to COVID-19.

City staff and the developer will be available to answer questions and receive feedback about the proposed development through this site, and the page will be continually updated.

Staff anticipates a site plan being submitted soon, and notifications about both the site plan and this site will go out to property owners within 500 feet of the subject property.

Developer’s Project Description

The Addison Longwood will be a 277-unit Class A garden-style apartment community located roughly 800’ east of the intersection at E SR 434 & S Ronald Reagan Blvd.  The property has direct frontage and access to E SR 434, as well as E Evergreen Ave and E Maine Ave.  The property consists of an assemblage of 5 individual land parcels spanning 7.50+/- acres.  A mix of studio (34), one-bedroom (106), two-bedroom (129), and three-bedroom (8) apartments will be housed in one of the property’s 3, elevatored four-story buildings.  Building 1, directly fronting E SR 434, will be constructed on a podium providing it an additional level of covered ground floor parking.  The remaining resident and guest parking spaces are supplied around each building in a traditional surface parked fashion.  Community amenities will be plentiful including a clubhouse with fitness center, yoga/spin room, game area, and cybercafé plus a resort-style pool with sundeck and hammocks and a “paw-park” with a nearby pet grooming facility.  Construction of the development is expected to begin in the 4th quarter of 2020.
