GET INVOLVED! JOIN A CITY BOARD!
Do you want to get involved in your local government and serve your community? The City of Longwood is always looking for volunteers who want to help guide the City by serving on one of its boards.
The City of Longwood has five (5) Boards and Committees:
Most members of these boards are community citizens who are appointed by the City Commission and supported by City staff. These individuals dedicate and volunteer their time and talents to support and promote the City. Each board has a stated purpose that fits into the framework of City government and provides a link between the citizens and the elected officials.
A Special Magistrate presides over Code Enforcement cases.
