Finance & Accounting Division

The Finance Division collects, accounts for, and disburses City funds under the direction of the City Commission. This Division is also responsible for gathering and organizing accounting information, reporting financial information and making recommendations to management.

 

Finance also produces, under the direction of the City Administrator, the annual budget document and the audited Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. Other duties include accounts payable and employee payroll.

The City's financial statements are designed to present users (citizens, taxpayers, customers, investors and creditors) with a general overview of the City's finances and to demonstrate the City's accountability.
