Current benefits for the position of POLICE OFFICER:
•Annual starting salary $43,500
•Take home patrol vehicle (within the mileage restriction)

Minimum Qualifications for Police Officer:
•Applicant must be at least 19 years of age
•Applicant must be a United States citizen
•Applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED
•Applicant must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License
•Applicant must possess a State of Florida Certificate of Completion and/or Certification of Compliance
•Applicant must pass a background investigation to include drug screen, CVSA exam, and criminal history check
The Longwood Police Department will periodically hold their written entrance exam for interested and qualified applicants.
