How far in advance can I book a rental?
We accept bookings up to 18 months in advance
How do I make a reservation?
Call (407) 260-3483 or email us to schedule an appointment. Reservations may be made in person Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
All rentals are first come, first serve. One-half of the rental fee and a signed Facility use contract will sercure your date.
How do I schedule a time to meet my caterer, florist, etc.?
Call (407) 260-3483 or email us to schedule an appointment. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, depending on the availability of the Building. We do not show the Building while it is in use.
How do we get in the building for our event?
The City of Longwood will open and close the building for each event.
What type of decorations can we use?
Decorations are permitted in the space you have reserved and will be approved by the Building's management. Tape, tacks, nails, staples, and the like are not permitted to attach decorations. Glitter and confetti-like decorations are also prohibited. The party renting the Building is responsible for removing all decorations immediately after the scheduled event.
Candles are permitted as long as the flame is enclosed in glass, such as a votive or hurricane lamp, and the wick is at least one (1) inch below the top of the glass rim. Candles may also be used if floating in liquid. Hand held candles are not permitted.
When can my caterer, florist, DJ, etc., set up and deliver items?
Deliveries and setup must occur during your allotted rental period.
How late can we stay?
The event must end, and all guests must vacate the premises by the end of your rental period. The Community Building is not rented past MIDNIGHT.
