Longwood Paving and Drainage Projects

Each fiscal year, the City of Longwood schedules paving and drainage improvements for various areas within the City of Longwood. In the last two fiscal years, the City has paved Rosedale Avenue, Lakeview Street, Credo Street, Pasadena Avenue, a portion of Overstreet Avenue, and completed drainage improvements on a portion of Orange Avenue. The next project, scheduled for late 2009, is the Ridge, Oak, and Talmo project.

These Before and After pictures are from two points on the Pasadena Avenue paving and drainage project. City paving projects include the installation of a wide sidewalk to promote pedestrian use and connectivity. Drainage improvements include the use of swales to store and treat stormwater.
